Loyalty Cards. Who doesn't have them. The ones I keep give me air miles and hotel stays that once a year I am able to take a trip to somewhere and stay for free. It would be great where if you have a system that can help you manage all that and able to sign up via an SMS or through the web. The need to carry another wallet just to keep all your loyalty cards might be a thing in the past.

This is where Taggo enters. They are a new loyalty management system and they have been developing the system to manage the subscription and activation process for establishments that uses their systems. Complete with the Taggo Near Field Communication (NFC) cards, the cards can be use independently or stuck to your phone or a device that you carry around often.

Loyalty systems are an animal of their own and with reward points and discount offered differently by different establishments and at different tiers. Coming from an understanding of airline loyalty programs, the process could be quite tedious and system intensive especially if you have alliances and different products. Taggo is not a loyalty system but loyalty systems are able to integrate to it so that the profiles can be transferred from Taggo to the establishment's loyalty program system when the customer signs up for it. No more forms.

Once you created a profile on the web and have activated the card, you are able to sign up to any Taggo enabled loyalty program just by sending an sms and tapping the card to a reader and every time you visit the shop, the shop is able to identify you through the card that you hold. You can also unsubscribe to a loyalty program just as easily.

As far as i know, they have since progress from the time I did this interview and i am hoping to get an update soon. Stay tuned for more:
