Foldees although a small start up that is not so new any more is quite an interesting company. In the midst of the digital age, they go back to the roots and focus on creatively designed cards. This is definitely a fresh classic feel of sending cards through what we now call snail mail. Which will never go away by the way.

Their model was unlike any crowd sourced design and printing online company. At the first impression it is very much like threadless for cards.

I recently contacted them and they are now also distributing them physically and last I heard they are having their 2nd shipment to Singapore very soon and you should be able to get them in stores. As the Malaysian election is drawing close, foldees will be publishing cartoons drawn by Zunar the cartoonist that was arrested for sedition in Malaysia. The cartoons will be used to encourage people to vote.
